Android Smart Device

  1. Please make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. Make sure you are using the latest version of the app.
  3. MEATER requires Android 5.0 or greater
  4. Make sure location services are enabled
  5. MEATER requires Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) or higher.
  6. Devices not supporting Google Play Services or without Location options will not work with MEATER.

Location Services must be enabled on your smart device.

MEATER requires that Android devices have location services enabled due to Android linking Bluetooth and location together. We do not use your location data for any purpose other than to access Bluetooth and connect to your MEATER probe.

I accidentally said no to the Location Services, how to I re-enable it?

  1. Open your device's Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Find and tap MEATER.
  4. Tap Permissions.
  5. Turn on Location.
