If you're using our original MEATER, the probe will just connect straight to your phone or tablet over Bluetooth. In open air, the typical range is about 33ft/10m, but the actual range during your cooks depends heavily on the type of cooking appliance you're using.
All of our other models come with a range-extending charger, and that charger should be kept close to your cooker for the most stable connection. From there:
- MEATER Plus and MEATER SE have a Bluetooth range of up to 165ft/50m, depending on obstructions in your cooking area.
- The typical Bluetooth range of MEATER Pro is around 250ft/75m, though it can vary a lot depending on obstructions.
- MEATER Block, MEATER Pro Duo, and MEATER Pro XL will have the same range as your WiFi network, or unlimited range if you're signed into a MEATER Cloud account.
