Your comprehensive support guide to your MEATER Pro, first released as MEATER 2 Plus.
Introduction to MEATER Pro
- Temperature Sensors: Each probe has five internal sensors to measure internal meat temperature up to 105°C/221°F and ambient temperature up to 550°C/1000°F. Multiple sensors reduce placement error and make sure that what you see is always the lowest internal temperature, displayed in tenths of a degree in the app.
- Probe Design: The Flame Guard™ stainless-steel probe handles high-heat cooking, even over open flame. It's fully waterproof and safe for sous vide, deep frying, and the dishwasher. The ceramic band allows wireless signal transmission. MEATER Pro is also 30% thinner than the previous generation probes for easier use with smaller cuts.
- Charging: Fast-charging technology gives you 2 hours of cook time in just 5 minutes. A 15-minute charge yields about 12 hours, and 30 minutes gives you over 24 hours of use.
- Charger Design: The charger includes a metal band for water resistance and easier docking. One AAA battery powers it for up to 2 years with weekly use. Magnetic backing and a rubber foot let you mount or secure it anywhere.
- Range: With Bluetooth 5 (Coded PHY Long Range), the MEATER Pro extends wireless range up to 250ft/75m.

Probe Sensor Accuracy
MEATER Pro has five internal sensors which are located in the first few centimeters of the probe between the pointed tip and the safety notch. Once a cook is active, you can tap on the internal temperature reading in the MEATER app to view the temperatures being reported by each sensor. If you feel your probe is inaccurate, refer to the Internal Sensor article for resolution.
Note: The probes are professionally calibrated and are designed to maintain their accuracy over time. No recalibration is necessary.
Probe-Charger Compatibility
MEATER Pro has a brand-new probe that's only compatible with its charger. Existing MEATER, MEATER Plus, or MEATER Block probes are not compatible and will not physically fit into the charger. The same is true of the MEATER Pro probes in our older charger models.
Safety & Care
