1. Check Charger Power

On the front of the charger, there's a black button underneath an LED. Pressing this button (either with the probe in or out) lets you know the status of the AAA battery:

  • Green LED: The AAA battery is still good and the charger should be working. Jump to the section below for the next steps.
  • No LED: The AAA battery is completely drained, or the charger isn't functioning correctly. Go to No LED on Original MEATER Charger for the next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: This LED does not tell you the charge status of the probe itself.

 

2. Troubleshoot Probe Connection

If the charger LED lights up, this means the issue is the probe not connecting to the phone or tablet. Go to Probe-to-Charger Connection - Original MEATER for the next steps.
