The USB port on MEATER Block is just there so you can plug in the charger and save your AA batteries during long cooks, and the USB-C port on MEATER Pro XL is only for charging. These ports won't connect your MEATER device to your computer.
If you want to watch your cook progress on your computer, we do have a feature that lets you share your live cook with any browser!
- Once you've gotten your cook started:
- Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
- Select "Web Link".
Choose how you want to send the cook link.
You won't be able to make any changes to your cook through this link, but you'll be able to keep an eye on your cook from any device. You can also share the link with your friends and family to get them excited for the upcoming barbecue.
