Identifying Your Probes

If you have multiple probes showing in the app, you can remove one of them from its charger and compare which probe appears as connected in the app.

If you have multiple probes connected, you can use your body heat by holding the internal sensor in your hand and see which probe temperature is rising on the app.

When you are setting up your cook and reach the temperature selection screen, you can name what this probe is cooking.

1. Make sure you have app version 4.0.1 or above.
2. Once the probe is successfully paired, start setting up your cook.
3. After choosing the cut of meat, you can enter the Cook Name field.

   • This process does not label/name the probe permanently. You will need to do this each time you start a new cook.

     

Please note: Probe clips are no longer available on MEATER.com. Additionally, if you already have the clips from before they were discontinued, they will not fit MEATER Pro probes, and therefore this feature won't be available in the app for MEATER Pro, MEATER Pro Duo, or MEATER Pro XL.

If you have probe clips, you can assign a clip number to a probe. Follow the steps below to name your probes:

1. Make sure you have app version 4.0.1 or above.
2. Once the probe is successfully paired, start setting up your cook.

3. After selecting the cut of meat, you can tap the Clip Icon next to the Cook Name field.

   

4. The app will list the four clips. You can select the number you want to use. This will assign the number to the probe for this cook only.

   • This process does not label/name the probe permanently. You will need to do this each time you start a new cook
