How can I check my battery levels?

What's in This Article?

When your MEATER device is connected, you can check the battery level of both the probe and charger in the MEATER app.

  1. Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the app Dashboard.
  2. Choose "My Devices".
  3. Tap on any component under "My Paired Probes" or "My Paired Extender Devices" to see its battery level and other details.

You can also check the charger battery status on the charger itself. This will only give you information about the charger battery, but not the probe.

  • The original MEATER, MEATER Plus, and MEATER SE have a black button on the charger, and you can press it to check the AAA battery. If it lights up green while you're pressing the button, the battery is still good.
    • If the battery is low on the original MEATER, the LED won't light up at all.
    • If the battery is low on MEATER Plus or MEATER SE, the LED will light up red. If it doesn't light up at all, the battery is completely drained.
  • MEATER Pro and MEATER Pro Duo don't have a button, but you'll see the battery status when you take the probe out of the charger:
    • For MEATER Pro, a long green flash means the AAA battery is still good. If you don't see it, the battery needs to be replaced.
    • For MEATER Pro Duo, there are 2 LEDs that each correspond to one of the probes. If the LED on the same side flashes green for 3 seconds when you take out the probe, the product still has some charge. If you don't see it, the charger needs to be plugged in.
  • When MEATER Block is turned on, you'll see a battery indicator at the top of the probe screen on the built-in screen, and this tells you the level of the AA batteries. Please keep in mind that plugging in MEATER Block using the micro USB port won't recharge the AA batteries or the charger itself, so the batteries should be changed if they're low.
  • MEATER Pro XL also has a battery indicator on the built-in screen that tells you how much charge it has left.
