1. Check Charger Power
Whenever you take a probe out of the charger, the LED on the same of the charger should light up for 3 seconds. For example, the LED on the right will flash when taking out the probe on the right (#2). This lets you know whether the product still has any charge:
- Green LED: The charger still has some power and should be working. Jump to the section below for the next steps.
- No LED: The lithium-ion battery is completely drained, or the charger isn't functioning correctly. Go to No LED on MEATER Pro Duo Charger for the next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: This LED does not tell you the charge status of the probe itself.
2. Check Probe Connection
Disconnections can come from either the probe or the charger. To find out which it is, take a probe out of the charger, and check the color of the blinking LED on the same side:
- Green blinking LED: The probe is connected to the charger, which means the disconnection is between the charger and your phone/tablet. Jump to the section below for the next steps.
-
Red blinking LED: The probe is not connected to the charger. Go to Probe-to-Charger Connection - MEATER Pro Duo for the next steps.
3. Find Disconnection Type
Symptoms will look a little bit different depending on whether you're pairing your MEATER Pro Duo for the first time, or if it's already paired to your MEATER app.
First Time Pairing
Follow along with the Quick Start Guide, and notice where you get stuck:
- "No Devices Found" screen: MEATER Pro Duo can't make its initial Bluetooth pairing. Make sure the probes have been charged for at least 15 minutes. If the product still doesn't connect, go to Device Compatibility and Permissions - MEATER Pro Duo for the next steps.
- "Connection Failed" screen: MEATER Pro Duo can't connect to the Wi-Fi network you've selected. Go to No WiFi Connection for the next steps.
- "MEATER Pro Duo can't talk to phone" screen: MEATER Pro Duo is connected to the network, but can't communicate with your phone/tablet. Go to MEATER Device Connects to WiFi but Won't Communicate with App for the next steps.
Paired Before
If the probes are connected to the charger but the product isn't connecting in the app, this can mean one of a few things. Start with No WiFi Connection, and follow the steps from there.
