This article covers how to travel with a MEATER device on an airplane.
Can I Bring My MEATER in My Carry-On Bag?
Most MEATER devices should not go in carry-on luggage. Because the probes are sharp, they may be confiscated as weapons by airport security.
Exception: MEATER Pro Duo and MEATER Pro XL chargers contain lithium-ion batteries, which means they are required to travel in your carry-on bag. Only the chargers should be packed in carry-on luggage — the probes must be removed and placed in a checked bag.
How Should I Pack My MEATER in a Checked Bag?
Your MEATER can safely travel in a checked bag. To keep it protected during the flight, we recommend the following:
- Wrap the device in soft clothes or packing materials to protect it during the flight.
- Remove the AAA or AA batteries from the charger before packing.
Please note: MEATER is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the flight.
