The MEATER Block has a range of up to 33ft/10m between the Block and probes, but in WiFi mode, the range is infinite provided you have a strong WiFi connection. If you are having trouble keeping the Block connected to WiFi, see MEATER Block Not Connecting.

Cooking Appliance
Are you seeing range issues with a specific cooking appliance?
- Appliances with thick metal lids or walls can limit the range. Keeping the Block next to the appliance and directly connected to the probes should ensure a stable connection.
- If the cooking appliance is a combi-oven or has a microwave feature, its built-in shielding will also block Bluetooth signals. This is a safety feature of this type of oven, not a product fault.

Cooking Method
Are you using metallic foil or cooking in a pot?
- If using foil, ensure the black ceramic portion of the probe pokes out of the foil. You can also refer to the Wrapping ProKnow video for guidance.
- If cooking in a pot, leave the lid open to allow the Bluetooth signal to escape.
Cooking Environment
Environmental factors like walls, closed windows, and closed doors can impact the range of the probe. Consider where you are keeping your Block in relation to the probes.
