Alert: Low Battery - Pro Collection

What's in This Article?

Learn what to do if you're seeing a low battery warning for your MEATER Pro Collection probe or charging dock (MEATER Pro, MEATER Pro Duo, MEATER Pro XL).

Your MEATER probe or charging dock may occasionally show a low battery warning. This article explains what to do depending on which device is affected.

Low Battery Warning - Probe

What you'll see

If your probe's battery is low, you'll see a warning in the app. On newer app versions, this appears as a banner at the top of the screen:

On older app versions, the same warning appears as a pop-up instead:

How to Fix It
  1. If you've cooked with the probe, make sure you've thoroughly cleaned the ambient end. Leftover residue can prevent the probe from making proper contact with the dock.
  2. Make sure your dock has power — a fresh AAA battery for MEATER Pro, or a full USB charge for Pro Duo/Pro XL — and leave the probe docked for at least 15 minutes.
  3. If the probe has been docked for 15 minutes on a properly powered dock and the warning persists, check the probe for damage. Look for any part that wiggles or twists.
  4. If you don't see any damage, re-power the dock (new AAA battery for MEATER Pro, or reconnect USB for Pro Duo/Pro XL) and dock the probe again.
  5. Restart your phone or tablet.
  6. Power-cycle the dock again before removing the probe.
  7. Open the app, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, and select My Devices to check your connected probes.
  8. If the battery level still shows as low, reach out to us for additional steps.

Low Battery Warning - Dock

What you'll see

If your dock's battery is low, you'll see a warning in the app. If the battery runs out completely, the app will let you know the dock is about to shut down:

Check which dock you have before following the steps below: MEATER Pro uses a single replaceable AAA battery, while MEATER Pro Duo and MEATER Pro XL have a built-in rechargeable battery that charges via USB.
