Block screen damage is not a common occurrence. However, if you're experiencing this issue, follow the steps below.
Symptoms
If your Block's screen is malfunctioning, it usually presents in one of three ways:
- Text or graphics are displaying incorrectly on the screen
- A simple blank screen
- Pixels on the screen are becoming distorted

Causes
- Heat damage
- The Block was dropped
What to Do
If your screen isn’t working, follow these steps:
- Check if the red light on the charger turns on when you press the power button
- Check if you hear any audio feedback when pressing the buttons on the device
- Take a photo of the entire unit with the Block powered on.
- Look for signs of heat damage like scorch marks or burns, as this may indicate damage from a previous cook
- Check for any signs of impact damage, such as missing chips on the charger, cracks in the Block, or a missing/dented kickstand
