Pairing a MEATER Block

Open the MEATER App on your phone. On your first login, the app will prompt you to add a device. If the app doesn’t automatically prompt you to add a device, manually tap the + Add Device button. 

If the customer already has a MEATER paired - tap the Initials Icon in the top-right corner of the home screen. Select My Devices and select Scan for Meater Devices on the bottom. If the app doesn’t automatically prompt the user to add a device, the customer can manually tap the + Add Device button.

Accept the Safety Agreement, then view the educational screens about temperature sensors, battery tab, and device charging.

1. Turn on your MEATER Block.
   • First-time use: Screen shows "Open App + Add Block".
   • Previously used: Select Use WiFi.
     
2. The app will search for nearby devices. Once found, it will display MEATER Block Found.
   • If multiple MEATER Blocks are nearby, choose your device from the list.
     

1. Ensure MEATER Block is within WiFi range.
   
2. Select your WiFi network (2.4GHz band).
   
3. Enter WiFi password.
   
4. Once connected, the Connection Complete screen will appear.
   

If a firmware update is available, complete it to ensure the device is running the latest version.

• The dock screen shows a progress bar during the update.

If the update fails or connection does not complete, see MEATER Block Not Connecting.

Once setup is complete, the cook dashboard will appear. Your MEATER Block is ready to use.

The app may prompt you to watch four short Getting Started videos.

Each video is under 30 seconds. You may skip them, but you must watch all four before starting your first cook.

1. Tap the Initials Icon, My Devices, MEATER Block, Wi-Fi Settings and Configure Wi-Fi.
    
2. Select your network, enter the password, tap Connect Done.
   

1. Ensure your phone is connected to the new network.
2. Open the MEATER app.
3. Turn on your MEATER Block.
4. Tap the settings button (gear icon) on the touchpad.
5. Select "Setup WiFi".
   
6. The app will guide you through WiFi configuration automatically.
